My R/T has been in the shop for 3 weeks waiting on a nationwide backorder for Bilstein shocks. I'm having to swallow my pride and drive our 4 banger small SUV so I'm trying to put a positive spin on the situation. Some of you probably garage your babies for winter so feel free to share your reasons it is good to NOT drive your Challenger. Here are mine:
- I don't worry if a Camaro or Mustang pulls up next to me at a stoplight that they will want to race
- I can park much closer to stores - an open space in between 2 mini-vans with stick-figure family decals on the back? No worry.
- I can pull up closer to curbs when parking without worrying about my wheels
- Raining or snowing and I just washed the car? Oh well!
- When getting gas people don't stop me to tell me how cool my car is (or talk about the new Hellcat)
- Speaking of gas - I can save .30-.40 per gallon by choosing regular instead of premium
- I get to be the Gawker whenever a cool Challenger drives by!
