seriously considering replacing the stock hood on my 12 challenger r/t with the mopar t/a hood. has anyone done this and what was the total cost? I know the hood is around $1500 but what about install, paint, etc? I wouldn't be able to do those things myself so would be looking at a shop to do it for me. I live in the DFW area if anyone has done this and has some info to share.

i payed 1250 for the hood, another 1100 for the paint. love the look though. well worth it in my book.

Yeah, your looking at about $2500. I personally don't like the TA hood but if you like it go for it.
