.. stock ride height ? think the widest on a stock rim is 275..think 285 might bulge the sidewall... make it go past the rim

Having the tire bulge a bit beyond the rim helps to prevent "curbing" the rim itself. I think we've all seen examples of rims that get torn up from rubbing against curbs.

It seems like everyone has a different opinion about this. Some say that putting 275/40R20 on the 20x8 wheel is not a good thing. Others say its just fine. I've read of some people that have 275 on all 4 tires. Looking back on when I bought the car I wish I would have researched this more. It sucks that Dodge put the 20x8 rims on the 100th Anniversary. Wish they would have an option to get the 100th wheels in the 20x9 so that I can easily go to the wider tires and Brembo Brakes. Well enough of my whining lol. I am going to put the Mopar Stage 1 springs on the car. I've read that it lowers it about an 1". What is the widest tire I can put on the car all the way around without rubbing?
