What could be more sad than storing a Challenger for the winter?
Covering two in storage for the winter!!
We put ours up for the winter at the end of October. Might have been able to get a couple more weeks out of them, but by the end of October the neighboring farms start cutting their crops and spreading their stored manure.
The roads are really a mess with mud and crap so it's more of a chore to keep them clean than it's worth to drive them.
Heavy sigh - April is only several months away............

even know I live in NY I have never officially put my performance car away for winter. Somehow I always find weekends in Dec Jan Feb to get it out and stretch its legs. Soon I will put a batt tender on it but as long as its not wet, sandy or salty, I try and take it out every weekend throughout. Sometimes its only 1 or 2 weekends in that month because its snowed in but when it all melts and the roads are cleaned up, back out it comes...

PS
Man some of you do have some great covers and I really like the Kitty Cover
I have a nice 5 layer waterproof cover but I would like it to come down another few inches on the front, back, and sides
No Garage so mine stays on a Rubber Mat & Covered when not using it. if you look close at the first pic you can see where my neighbors cats use the cover as a scratch pad
I just had to buy another cover for it because of it. Those dam cats have cost me 3 or 4 covers the last few years and they do it on all 4 corners (TG no damage to any of the cars underneath yet)

I feel fortunate that I don't have to do this! Mine hasn't been driven for two weeks, but it is just because the weather has been lousy. I will drive it tomorrow....LOTS! And all winter, when the roads/weather is good. Love winter driving, as there aren't any bugs!!!

A little funny story of the opposite kind: in the middle of Europe, snow is in fact rare, but we got our say 2 inches max on Friday night (will last not long...). Winter tires are required by the law this time, generally if "driver can expect snow-covered road" and explicitly in traffic-sign designated areas. In case of accident, not having winter tires in the legal winter time, it's at least easy point for the insurance company to reduce payment. Not speaking about the winter tires do perform better and more safely in the prevailing conditions we have during winter time.
My point is that I failed an early-enough call to Ford dealership (1 car to make regular check in addition and both cars have the seasonal wheel sets stored there) and I am scheduled in a long queue to December 6.
So the only winterized vehicle in our family right now is Challenger :)
We had to make some pre-winter maintenance in family weekend-house etc. so I took my youngest son to help me and we made a nice winter cruise yesterday. Finished with washing Christine from dirt and salt, of course.
