i also put mine away yesterday, i waited too long and did not get it to the warehouse i typically keep it in so in the garage this winter.

i would love to drive mine in the winter on nice days but minnesota lays down so much salt and de ice spray there is no way im subjecting it to that.

put the tender on and it can rest easy till we get some rain next spring....longest 4 months of my life every year

While I love the big power Challenger's, my AWD GT will be happily plowing through snow banks and gives me all year driving fun. I already have my 70S sitting for 6 months, exactly why a SRT or Hellcat hasn't followed me home, don't need another lawn ornament.

My plans were to to make the switch on Monday. At the storage facility, the Cadillac wouldn't start. So had to jump it and get it my Cadillac dealer and leave it until scheduled service today (LOF, tires rotated).

Challenger into storage now on Friday........

Whatta foreign experience 🧐. For the winter, I swap the Challenger for my Cadillac ATS. This is about as night and day as it can get.

Challenger: 6.4L V8, 485 HP and tips the scales at 4,082 lbs curb weight.
ATS: 2.0L I-4, 272 HP and 3,258 lbs curb weight.

It's only foreign going into the Cadillac. Getting back into the Challenger is pure pleasure 🤠.

Fully understandable
Mine comparison would be the GT AWD and either Ford Mondeo Mk.III (aka US Fusion) with 1.6L turbo I-4, 165 HP and about 3200 lbs + 6M with very tall gearing or Ford Galaxy (European minivan 5-7 seats, Galaxy/S-Max/Mondeo share platform...) with 2.0L turbo diesel, 140 HP, 6A and about 4000 lbs (weight very close to Chally GT AWD)...
Honestly the biggest issue is to fight the Mondeo to get out of somewhere quickly (take-off or jump into freeway traffic), the car simply does not like acceleration (but gives good mpg at steady pace). The Galaxy minivan dynamics fades with speed, not surprisingly due to aerodynamic drag. Both are say of average (or now more close to even low-end) power for European cars in their respective categories.
So even the little V6 brings me driving pleasure

I have two cars and one is always in storage. By doing so saves me around $20 a month.

I just bought my Challenger in July, stopped driving it in November for winter. I don't have a garage, so i have it covered in my driveway until March/April. Haven't donr anything to it, to winterize per say. I do start it once a week, and let it run for about 20 mins. Any suggestions I should or shouldn't be doing, and what maintenance shoud i gett done to it before back driving full time?? Only have about 1500 miles on last oil change. Thanks for any advice..
