Hey Guys : Have a big problem hope you can help ... Driver Side seat belt will no retract... Took the retractor completely out unscrewed the cover saw nothing damaged .. Put it back together still will not retract.. thought it might be locked but it's not .. Any suggestions before I take it out again Need some help if you can .. Thanks

Sometimes it's the weirdest thing but I notice that at times when a belt is pulled out it doesn't want to retract until I open the door and it retracts. Maybe there is something like that going on in your case. I know you had to open the door to get to the mechanism to work on it but maybe there is something associated with the door opening and closing. Just a thought. Hope you find what is causing the trouble and you can let us all know! Lou.

I believe this is covered under warranty (saftey issue)

Take it apart again and check/clean all components.

Well the good news is I took it apart and fixed it.. Seems some of the ball bearings were stuck in the igniter tube .. Works good so far ,! Thanks guys
