I'm seeking some assistance in upgrading my o.e.m. halogen headlight bulbs on a 2013 Dodge Challenger. Sylvania makes the Ultra at 4100 kelvin and the xe at 4200 K.

Could any provide the o.e.m. lamp temperature for the halogen headlamps? There seems to be a greater amount of light dispersed using the Sylvania upgrade lamps. I'm not interested in converting to H.I.D., rather maintaining the configuration 'without' any conversion kit. I've seen no mention of this, so I'm posting.

The H.I.D. lamps provide maybe 6100K which is too much. As far as I know, 4000K is the purest form of light without merging colors. In any event, all help would be appreciated. Thank you.

The Sylvania Basic Bulb(which we sell at Advance Auto where I work as OEM replacement) is rated at 3200.

Thanks. Do you know what the wattage of that bulb is (O.E.M.)? I really did not wish to exert more amperage through the TPIM. I believe that the O.E.M. may be around 50 to 55 watts, not sure. The Ultra is 60 watts.

Primary(low beam) on the Sylvania Basic is 55 watts. Secondary(high beam) is 65 watts. Wattage on the Ultras are the same(55/65 low/high). Those are the specs listed on the Sylvania website.
