Does anyone else have this issue.....If I don't roll my side windows down for a few days, it seems like they "forget" the lower limit and bottom out with a "clunk" for a few cycles. The passenger side seems to get stuck for a second after "clunking" in to the full down position and sometimes takes a couple of tries of the button for it to "let loose" and roll back up.

These windows are notorious for acting erratic. My passenger window failed in the up position recently. Clicking from the motor but no up or down. I pulled the motor and regulator. They both checked ok. Ended upp lubing the tracks with grease and works fine now. I don't think there is enough lube on the cables and tracks if you ask me. if it is under warranty definitely take it back.

How difficult is it to get at the tracks? I assume the interior panels will need removed...right?
You will have to take the panel off. Two phillips screws in the middle of the panel, one behind the door pull. Three phillips on bottom of door panel. 4 rivets on right side and three rivets on left side. push center of rivet in. I just pushed them all the way in and ordered new ones.

Popping the panel is slightly violent. It has approx 4 rivets holding the door on that you cannot see.:) Unplug the window up / down cable. Peel the black weather barrier from the door. (You will have to remove the square module in the center of the door to fully take off the black weather barrier.

Tape the bottom portion of the exterior window/ door with packing tape so to stop it from falling into the door. Remove the two pinch bolts holding the regulator to the window. Loosen two bolts that hold the motor to the door. (these do not have to be removed as they are slotted and slide out) Remove the four bolts holding the rails. The rails are connected with cables so they are easily flexed and the entire assembly can be worked out of the hole on the right.

I removed the motor from the regulator and lubed everything. Working it manually with a pair of long nose pliers. If you temporarily plug the motor, module and up down door switch. You can test the motor. Work the motor and grab the gear by hand to see if you can stop it. if you can stop it, motor is bad. And of course reassembly is in reverse order.

Now that's what I call detailed instructions...thank you! I'll be printing this out and putting it with my poor man's Challenger repair manual.
I try my best. I know the dealer would probably rape us to do the same work. Take your time and you will be surprised how easy it is. Almost as easy as fixing a RC car just a bit bigger:smileup:
