I would tell the association who make it a strict rule that you can’t “work on your car” rehang a piece of plastic, to piss off. It’s not like you’re pulling your engine.
I actually said something similar. I told them if I see people washing their cars that's about as much work as jacking it up and placing something underneath. They said it was fine, its more a deterrent against some old residents that used to fix their buddy's cars and that it's not a problem.

Any time I have an automotive question I go to the manager of the quick oil change place.
Yep. The same guy who over-torques your drain plug and messes up your car and your driveway.

Up here in Maine, we can't drive a lowered anything. Too many whoops and undulations on secondary roads. Currently, my Sons Challenger has higher rate springs on all 4 corners so he can blast the back roads without bottoming out. And the car still has a nice profile. We have a great spring shop local with people who know their shit.
