So as I am approaching time to replace spark plugs for the second time I wonder if it is also time to replace the spark plug tube seals?Has anyone done this? There are a total of 8 and at close to $10.00 a seal they cost more than the plugs LOL

I can't say I have heard anyone bring up the question, or topic... I imagine as long as they are not dry rotted or the edges split, they should be fine...
When I did mine at 30K, I put a dollop of die-electric grease in the end of the tube before reinstalling them. I would hope that will keep the rubber pliable... I am sure there are a few folks here with 60K and two plug changes under their bely... hopefully they will chime in. I am at 44K so it will be a while before I will know for myself...
The only HEMI I had that got a bunch of milage was my 2008 RAM 1500, It logged 88k and had the plugs changed twice but it did not have any seals that even looked like they were close to being bad. Hope this helps....
As long as they are not corroded or split I would let it go. I think they are more of a guide when "plugging in."
