There's a few Mopar guys around my area who use Sta-Bil Marine. They swear by that stuff.

80% hydrotreated light distillate (aka kerosene) and 20% some other non named additive.

Regular Sta-bil is 95% hydrotreated light distillate and 5% some other non named additive.

For the non named additive my WAG would be toluene which is an octane booster.
What kind of additive would you recommend to reduce the adverse side effects of ethanol? We have a GoGas station near my house, which has 93 octane non-ethanol for a good price. Although, I’m uncertain they are the equivalent of a tier 1 fuel. I called their home office and could never get a straight answer. I finally got the reply that their fuel was the same as a tier 1 bit they had opted not to pay the fees to participate in the tier 1 program.
Otherwise, we have a BP that is the same distance from our house and I go there to get fuel. The BP Rewards helps a little on the price as well.
