Just passed a wreck on the road 15 min ago. I came up on some emergency vehicles at an intersection. They where tending to a crash of a car hitting a pick-up from behind.

Normally this isn't news worthy but the car that picked the fight with a Chevy truck was a was a SE Challenger!:kap:
Sad to say that Chevy whipped the Dodge in this one.

All I could do was shed a tear for the SE and drive by.

Me thinks a distracted driver may have been the cause.

Unfortunate instance for both drivers, especially at this time of year. Hopefully the silver lining is that no one was injured in the collision.

+1. Puts a real damper on the holiday cheer. Right before my first Christmas with the Challenger I got rear-ended by a POS van. Nothing major, but the bumper cover and egg-crate plastic behind it were damaged, but I was still pissed. Then the other guy started with the whole argument that he wasn't as "privileged" as me to have such a nice car. Somehow after all that I calmed down, went through the insurance ritual, and wished him a Merry Christmas...

I'm thinking the Challenger hit hard by the mashed front. I guess the eyes of the driver were focused on something other than the road.
Hope that something wasn't a phone... way too many accidents involving people texting or talking. Thank God for U-Connect (especially with a 6 - speed)!

Not that I spend a lot of time in traffic but, I have yet to see a damaged, late-model Challenger.

Of course, my lasting hope is that the first one is NOT my own!
