I've been planning on doing a quick halo mod to my current lights. I found a set of 160mm halo rings that I can apply to the front lights and tap into fuse #5 so they're constantly illuminated as long as the engine is running. A few other guys here on the forum have given it a try & it looks pretty darn good (video at the bottom).

However the other day I came across a 2015 Challenger & let me tell you.. They're a beauty  But it got me thinking, I really like the idea of the parking/turn light halo being a switchback style of LED. Here's an example.

I wanted to know if anyone here has had any experience doing this, seen it done or know if it's even feasible? If not I will continue with the all white 160mm halo rings and just install an amber 3156 LED for the turn signal (instead of the 3157 so it only illuminates when the flashers are on).

Thanks in advance guys!

Halo blinkers

I did just the opposite of what you are wanting but it might give you some ideas.

On my 2014 SRT Core, I have green plasma halos for the halogen housings installed on a wireless controller separate from the car systems.

Also had the hid housing sized rings installed in the parking light portion of the housing and wired them up for the blinker.

To deactivate the 3157 blinker filament use a test light to determine which contact provides power for that side of the bulb and remove the wire from the base of the bulb. I actually folded the wire for the blinker filament to the other side of the bulb and removed the parking filament contact of a white bulb so the brighter side lights up as a parking light.
