Ordered a T/A style CAI today. Can't wait to see how it works on my '15 SRT! Been admiring this setup since the T/A's first came out.

Nice I was hoping to just get the upper portion but I don't think there's a part number out for that only.

Works as a whole assembly. You need the box around the filter too so the rubber seals mate up with the hood scoop plumbing for an air tight seal when the hood is closed.

I ordered it from Steve White Motors. Worked out to be $680 with shipping but I somehow clicked Fedex overnight and it was $70 for that. A fellow Challenger Club member ordered one from them a couple of days ago for around $640 so I'm currently communicating with Luke at S.W.M. to see what the deal was there.

Should have it installed soon so will see how the new air temps compare with the K&N Typhoon CAI I have on it now.

Yeah I wasn't really expecting a performance in crease just liked the idea of re-routing the air to be directed above my CAI since I already had money into one CAI couldn't justify buying another when I still might want to supercharge down the line.

My butt is chaffed from being on the fence so long on whether to do a S.C. mod or just find a nice used Hellcat. Leaning more towards the Hellcat now. Modding tends to trash much of the resale value for what I've been seeing.

Installed the kit today in couple of hours with no issues. Pretty easy actually. This thing is pulling in outside air from everywhere now. Not only the new hood scoop plumbing but also the wheel well and the new headlight port. Plus the whole assembly is a sealed unit when the hood is closed. Haven't had a chance to do a shake down yet but have high expectations for outside air temps close to inside. While I was in there, I also popped the cap on the passenger side headlight port for some added air to the engine bay. It also comes with a C.A.R.B. sticker from Dodge so looks good to go for CA drivers.

Looks good! That is a nice set up that the TAs have. Glad they are now available for retro fit into SRTs. Be very interested to see how this set up drops AIT. Now all I need is the SRT hood and I can get a TA CA kit. Debating on new hood or rims for next year.

Comes with a new hood scoop grill/bezel and the snorkel. Also a new air box & filter to mate to the gasket on the snorkel and a tube from the air box to driver side headlight port.

Looks like new intake temps. are pretty similar the K&N Typhoon I replaced it with (roughly a 5 to 6 degree delta-T) while in motion on an 80 degree day. Feel better having a sealed CAI system now though. I really think removing that passenger side headlight port cover has slightly helped my engine temps. too.

See the post I made in the HC section titled "6.2 sc verses 6.4 na differences". I gave a link to an article that explains how they took a 6.4l and changed it to a 6.2 supercharged Hellcat motor. Dodge made a lot of changes to ensure it could handle the boost and be reliable. Worth reading, it will help you make that decision. ;)

I already have a MOPAR CAI and I just need the hood portion of the scoop, which is still not available.

Nice job, and not a bad idea ,why not taking advantage of the T/A scoop when you have almost the same car.I love that.
