We will now be maintaining a database of LX/LC cars with 12 second 1/4 mile times. We will be accepting time slips and mod lists for you to be considered for the list. Once we see you post up your mods and time slips, we will add you to this post. If you have trouble reading the list, a pdf is attached at the bottom of the list.

1/8 miles results = 12 second 1/4 mile ET

Here are 2 time slips from my 2009 SRT8: The ET's and MPH are high 12 second run-Prob 12.88-12.79. Just check the 1/8 mile ET and MPH of those running high 12's in the 1/4.
Mods are catch can, K+N CAI, Pred 91 tune, That I tweaked the Timing and fuel, and a Gertrag limited slip rear with 3:73 axle ratio. It is an automatic SRT8. Running Nitto 555R DR's
I ran my mustang that day too. SRT8 is #3 and the mustang is #4 on the
second timeslip.
My friend was driving the SRT8 and it was my first time in the Mustang driving a 6 speed at the drags. All I can say is I feel for you 6 Speed Chally guys when you launch. It is truly an Art. And I ain't no artist, LOL

I agree, your car should be into the high 12's with that 1/8th mile ET, unfortunately we will need to see a 1/4 mile time slip to enter you into the club. We want to keep this as accurate as possible!

NP Dave. I wish there was one closer to me, that let's the little guy run test and tune.
I used to have a 1/4 mile strip locator, I will see if I can find it. It would allow you to enter your zip and it would show you your closest track.

Are any of you guys running 20" tires, I was making some calls today to see why my times are so bad and a guy at Bama Chips told me the bigger tires would make fro slower times. I have the 392 rear end with the 6 speed trac pac and my best time is 14.0 flat @ 100 mph

My car is a stock no Mods SRT8 Challenger and yes it has 20" and it is a Auto not 6 speed. If you check my
DA for that track for that day it was AWSOME BABY.
I do not think my times will be that good till it gets
cool out again. But we will see. I will post my times slips the next time i can make it to the track . Hope it is soon i am hurting. Post your time slips so we can help
But post them in a new post in dragracing. Do not give
up, have fun it will come to you.

Thanks! I found Rockingham dragway "The Rock" is 1.5 hrs from my house and a full 1/4 mile strip. I will be heading there Friday night to try to make it into the 12 sec club!! If I can run an 1/8 @ 8.29 @ 86+ MPH like I did in the 1/8 and the car don't fall on it's face the second 1/8 I should be there.

I made the club

Time slips enclosed.
Thanks for everyone's support. I knew the Fat load Hemi Dodge had it in her.
I had 3 12sec runs out of 3 tries. Best one 12.824 @ 109.59
DA was 1788
temp was 86* on first run

2009 SRT8 6.1 Hemi
Stock 5 speed Auto
Stock factory exhaust

Only Mods
K&N CAI
Billet CC
Predator 91 CAI tune running 93 OCT with some tweaks
Tweaks= LOW RPM +2* timing and +13% fuel
MID RPM no added timing and 15% fuel
High RPM +1* timing and 15% fuel
3:73 Mopar limited slip differential
275/40/20 Nitto 555r drag radials.\

I knew it was not a good day to get a good time from the DA
Here is the corrected time:
Density Altitude: 1788 feet above sea level
1/4 mile ET 12.824 seconds
1/4 mile trap speed: 109.59 MPH
Stock and Mildly Modified Naturally Aspirated Engines
Corrected time 12.564 @ 111.906 MPH
This is a testament to Dodge that a 2.4 ton Crusier Muscle car with no internal engine work can run like this.

Thanks ForumZ
Deacon
