The only other thing you may require parts wise besides the front air dam itself are these two corner pieces that cover the vertical gap behind the vertical section. I'll see if I can find a part number.
The link N2Rock posted above includes the corner pieces.
Here they are individually.
My cars a 2014 R/T . The link is for a 2015 and up. The price is great. Would I need to mod it to fit ?
Couple things. Price looks great sure, then they nail you with like $150 just for shipping alone. I asked several online resources Steve White included. It was all the same. Shipping was extremely high due to the size of the package. I was better off buying the front air dam spoiler from a local CDJ dealership by a wide margin. And so are you. I just drove like 10 minutes and picked it up in my Charger. It was not in a box just wrapped in a foam like wrapping paper and fit no problem in my cabin. I may have had to pull the rear seat down so it could partially occupy the trunk space but I don't remember if that was even necessary.
Also, when I removed the previously damaged front air dam from my 2015 Scat Pack to replace it with a new one I sold it to a guy who bought it for his 2014 Challenger. I was not willing to sell him the part but he assured me it would fit right up with no problems or modifications. So he happily bought it. He said he just needed those corner pieces and that was it. Mind you this guy did say he was going to repair the heavy chips and scratching then color match the paint to the body color. So he worked in a body shop of some type and was experienced in that sort of thing. But again, I asked him to clarify and he assured me there was no modification necessary. "Fits right up." OK so there ya go. This question about the 15 srt air dam fitting up on a 14 came up on the Facebook group just the other day so I told this story and tagged the guy in the post to see his outcome but he did not respond. I just shot him a line on the messenger. If he responds I'll report back in.
Just heard back. Here's what he said.
"No it didn’t fit"
"It was to wide and it didn’t have the indentation for the fog lights"
So now we know.
Yeah, I shopped around. A lot of online places had lower prices than Steve White, but then had huge shipping charges. Steve White ended up being the lowest price with cost + shipping. Their shipping was $70-ish (compared to other online sources charging up to $150).
In my case, my older son was buying it for me for Xmas. I didn't want him to have to try to figure out what parts to order from a local dealer, and go through the hassle of driving out to get it. So I just provided him the Steve White link.
Just ask them for the 392 for your year. Steve White's ebay store has a listing for one, so they have it in stock: https://www.ebay.com/itm/08-14-Dodg...-Chin-Spoiler-Kit-Mopar-Genuine-/391904711376
Instead of going through ebay, just contact them directly. I think they probably sell cheaper directly because they don't have to deal with the ebay transaction fees.
Great resource. Thank you.
Oh I don't need it. I already did the repair on my 2015 Scat Pack. I was just trying to pass along the information from my experience.
