I live in a state with no emission testing, so running no cats is not a problem. If I cut the cats out, will my car lose any performance because of the check engine light until I can get a custom tune to shut those rear O2 sensors off? Or is the CEL just that, and not something that would cause the engine to pull timing.

Anyone here done this particular mod? How was the results. I've seen on one forum a guy claiming a .4 tenth gain at the track with just cat delete :wow: l

Any help is appreciated

You may lose a little low end but it should be negligable with stock exhaust logs (manifolds).
The check engine light will stay on as you will have a code due to "cat converter out of tolerance".
