Long story short, I was on the phone with one of our more reputable vendors yesterday inquiring about Throttle Bodies for my 2012 R/T, and was talked in to buying a 87mm Modern Muscle TB. I was originally just wondering what was compatible and what wasn't....somewhere along the way my credit card came out of my wallet.

Now that the damn thing has shipped and I can't change my order I am thinking I made a mistake. I know bigger isn't always better, especially with TB's. So, anyone run a 87mm on their R/T and not have any issues? Run the thing and see what happens or just take the company up on their buy back guarantee? Swap for an 85mm?

Also picked up a front and a rear strut brace, which was all I was originally going to buy in the first place.

A fool and his money are soon parted.

I ran an 85 mm TB on my R/T without issue and have an 87mm TB from Modern Muscle which I will be using on my SRT. I would say 87mm is probably more than you will need but I would think it would still work ok for you. Also the MM TB is a ported TB so the actual blade is I believe still 80 mm, so it may not be as much of an overkill as you might think.

I had one of our engineers on the base tell me that it may actually help me in the summer months due to our extreme heat and lack of air density. It gets hot enough in mid summer that the F-16 are usually grounded during the day because they can't get enough lift.
