Dude I sware the amount of people that are having this issue. This is not normal if I would have know. This I would of went with a mustang or camaro. People saying it's normal it's not. When you hear humming from your drive line the balancing is off and the clunking is a faulty. Could be u joint, differential gears, bearings. This could possibly harm the transmission in the long [email protected] won't do shit.
I spoke with someone who has got the 2019, he said he took it to the dealer 3 times and a Separate mechanic as well, they couldn’t find the issue, he mentioned they all do it some harder than others but it has affected the performance of his car, I still agree this isn’t normal.

There really is no risk to you or your family. Here is why...(Hopefully) My dealership mechanic contact whom has been a driveline mechanic for nearly 35 years says that this issue seems to be related to the self test of the Brake start interlock system self test. Not all cars have the problem. That is key! He says that cars that are started properly do not exhibit the problem. That's not a dig about not knowing how to start your engine. These vehicles have TIP start systems. The driver is NOT supposed to hold in the start button until the engine starts. You are supposed to merely touch the button and let go. The engine will continue to crank and start by itself just as if you used the remote start function.
The only drivers that need to hold in the start button are the ones with the M6 gearbox.
Try it and see what happens.

Mainly the rear wheel drive. It's the u joint. If you hear humming as well then something isn't right. Something wasn't properly lubed and is cause it to fail.
Two different issues. The original OP is about the difference in starting with remote start vs. starting inside with foot on brake. It mentions nothing about driveline noise or vibration when moving. The only caveat is a lurch on startup after the vehicle is fully warmed up. He carefully documented the issue.
In your past notes, you don't mention what year, model, mileage, V6, V8, or when it started. All is key to diagnosing problems.

John were all stating that noise is coming from the driveline mainy factors are at play. If you read through all the post someone is having noises, thumps, humming.

I noticed a similar issue with my V6 Grand Cherokee. I realized I was shifting out of park too quick after starting (impatient). I now let it "settle down" before shifting and do not experience the symptom.

Any chance you have a friend with a lift and you can spin the driveline while underneath? You can find the source of the noise in a few seconds.
I know it blows to have these issues because even dealerships won't chase down things they think are all in the drivers "head" and there really is no problem.
