I have never updated the software they offer for Map Directions,,,, never even use it,,,, still has Detroit home address,,, lmao,,, who cares,, I don't use it so I never updated it,,,, BUT now my CD.s don't load correctly.. Have over half the memory left. Throws everything into same playlist. only by song name. Any One heard of this??? Suggestions on fix,,,,, am I missing drivers that have changed??? CD;s use to load correctly,,, Help Anyone???? Dealer knows sht,,,, no help. :smiledown::kap:

You dont need to upgrade any software. Burn the disc to your pc. Create a folder in windows explorer, Name the folder, then copy all the files from the pc to the folder. Once you have it named you can transfer it to a usb flash drive. Then upload it via the drive. Your stereo will then have it segregated so it is not all in the same playlist.

my unit is not working as it should and it should do it on its own,,,,, i didnt ask for a work around,,,, i am thinking that the upgrades are on that disc for map upgrade,,,,, have no interest into my own qeek inspiration,,, i want my unit to work as it has in the past,,,,, or a new unit

You don't state what year car your have or what radio but if it is a 2009 or 2010 RER, with the original software in it, it is very erratic and full of bugs. Since it doesn't sound like you care to fool with figuring out how to download the newer firmware and install it, see if Dodge will send you an update disk. They sent me one but I had long since updated the firmware myself.

My car is a 2010,, and not the apple version. Erratic is exactly what it is,,, so dodge will send me an update,,, great news. I will make the inquiry, thankz so much. Now I know what to ask for.:smileup:
