Here is a question that I'm unable to find an answer by searching forums.

What's a good free flowing muffler or cat back system for a 3.6 that is quite so to speak.

Any help or advice is greatly appreciated !!

Cheers,

Exhaust

Thanks for the reply. Was the corsa sport you heard on a 3.6?

I want the performance of free flowing exhaust just not the sound. It will always sound like a v6. Gotta face it :)

Not on a 3.6, but I've heard some good comments on the Pypes system on 3.5's. Check out the SE Exhaust Section..

For the 3.6L MagnaFlow cat-back is good. My very trusty mechanic told me that system basically has no restrictions.

Thanks for your reply Vessago. Those seem to be very well liked. Solo too but I was looking for something somewhat quite yet free flowing to go along with a Intune, CAI, 80mm TB mods next a week.

Thanks for the help my friend!

Glad to be of help. :)

Solo is good, but it is a bit too "farty" on high RPMs for my liking. I went with Magnaflow, and I am very happy with it. Actually, it seems to run even smoother with time (I have it for more than a year now).

Congrats on your ported TB and CAI. You will love all those mods.
