I think the enhanced sound comes from two things... one, like you said, exiting a little further out from under the car. Also, the exiting pulses have a chance to expand a little in the bigger chamber of the tips, which helps take the edge off of the higher frequency end of the sound. Kind of like listening to music on your phone, and then putting your phone in a small bucket. Same sound, but bounced and filtered just a little differently, so it sounds bigger. Whatever it is, I'm lovin' the tips. :)

Yes... A guy on the 3.6 charger side of this forum claimed that was what took care / got rid of the drone on his... the fact that the tips reach out past so far and just the fact of being quad tips... Anyway that's what got rid of his drone... Works for me... :)

I had the factory 18s on and they rode real nice, but I went to 20s and barely noticed a difference in ride quality but much better handling.

Man, that is sharp! Really like how those tips look!

If I could trouble you for a quick question....The chrome trim in the bumper where the exhaust exits, how did you remove it? Thanks!

Sorry for the late response. The factory tips have 4 fasteners apiece. 2 fasteners vertical, 2 horizontal. All are 10 MM. 8 total. You need to look under the rear valance panel to see them. I used a 1/4" drive ratchet with a 3" extension. The upper horizontal bolt were a bitch to get to. The lower vertical bolts were a little easier. Good luck. Take your time and don't break anything.
