hi all i just got done wiring up my new aftermarket android navigation radio.i have used the pac c2r chy4 interface harrness.it has a vss wire ,it says connect to radio's wire .but there is no vss wire on the aftermarket radio harness.it has all the rest but not that.so i need to know if anyone knows where i should connect it to or if it needs to be connected at all? thanks for the info let me know :smileup:.

what is the brand and model of the radio you bought? I will look for the wiring diagrams on it. Jared

I don't think you need the VSS wire on your aftermarket unit. IIRC, the VSS wire provides a variable speed signal to the GPS unit so it can estimate your location in case satelitte connection is lost when going through a tunnel, etc.
