So I haven't done anything to the car yet since I bought it. I was wanting to have racing stripes added down the center of the car, but haven't been able to pick a color. Once I pick the color I can start changing things on the inside etc... Thoughts on this please: I am thinking of doing 2 racing stripes 9 inches wide down the center of the car but doing them in vinyl with carbon fiber print on them. Thoughts? Opinions? Hate it or love it?

It's more expensive, but 3M makes a textured carbon fiber vinyl - check my photo albums. Not all colors are UV resistant and it comes in black, red, silver and white that I know of. Racing stripes look great on these cars. A custom vinyl guy should have no problems with it. The guy that did my stripes has also used it as a hood wrap and a roof wrap.

Where in Florida are you?

Since your car is white almost any color works for the stripes. It all comes down to what you like and how different you want your car to be. I've seen white Challengers (some in person / some in pics) with red, black, orange, light blue and even purple. I thought the purple stripes looked great, but I might be biased. The orange looked great also. Both were different from what you'd normally see out there.
The great thing about vinyl is that you can remove it if it doesn't turn out like you expected....and you're only out a couple hundred bucks. You can go back and try something else.

I think that a deep red will look really great on your white Challenger. It would make it stand out from the crowd. :)

As for the type of stripes, it depends on your preference. I prefer a bit lower-key stripes, so I removed the original racing stripes from my car, and put the fender stripes. If you like the race stripes, go with them. Trust your gut feeling. Whatever you do, I'm sure your Challenger will look stunning and you will get a lot of complements.

I have always thought that with a Bright White Challenger that Silver stripes would look great. It would be kinda subtle, but still stand out. Silver would also lend to whatever you decided to do with your interior accents. Good Luck with your decision, I'm sure it will be great!

I don't think I've ever seen Carbon Fiber stripes on a white Challenger before. Like everyone is saying, pretty much any color on a white Challenger would look great. If you like it then do it!

Keep us updated on what your thinking . I left mine naked as well ( couldn't decide ) , mine will be green . I'm steering towards the T/A front ( hood, top nose cone ) in some kind of wrap . Two reasons 1 because I can peel it of if I don't like it , 2 because it should protect it quite well from stone chips . That's if I can find anyone I trust to do it .

Take a look at some vendor galleries such as Ridergraphix. Silver can be subtle against the white. I've put and pulled 3 different graphics from my 10 (traded in), just be willing to spend money on good quality vinyl, you do get what you pay for. Good luck.

With a white car, you literally have a blank canvas on which to choose a color. Just about any color striping will work. I found a photo of carbon fiber stripes on a Challenger hood.
