What is the fuel tank(s) in the '11 Challenger made of? I've been seeing the adds for StaBil 360 suppose to stop corrosion in the fuel tank but was thinking the Challenger had a type of plastic tank. Am I wrong?

I think most vehicles today are a type of plastic. Not sure when metal went away but my 96 Ram had a plastic tank.
Now that's a pretty good question. I never thought to ask. Lou.
our fuel tanks are made of plastic ( Polyethylene) are most modern day cars
yup...plastic. The stbil is good to ensure the gas doesn't start breaking down on you if you are parked for extended periods of time...but don't think it does anything for the tank itself. Prevent gumming in the fuel system if you add it properly! seen and heard lots of people do everything to get their vehicle ready for winter or long storage....then the last thing they do is add the stabilizer and walk away. Needs to run for a while to get through the entire system!
