Once the motor is past the initial break in I don't see why not. I think I installed mine around the 800 mile mark and was at the drag strip around the 1,000 mile mark giving it a little exercise.

Drive 60 miles North on Hwy 87N to Arrington. Lucky Bastard, I drove 16 Hours one way to get mine tuned.
