Are the newer models not coming with hard drives?
I've loaded all my music on the storage space in the 730N.
I still have factory the CD/DVD player in mine, which makes ripping actual CDs easy.
The wife's Dart has a CD / USB / SD setup in the arm rest, she uses the SD card as it's quick and easy to edit what is on it.

I don't pay for Sirius since I listen to pandora and Iheartradio via the phone...only a few satellite stations I like anyway.

No - they come with a USB/SD/aux jack setup in the center console.

    No hard drive, no CD.

Oh, man -- you beat me to it! Actually, there were a number of automobile manufacturers that offered optional "turn tables" and other unique options. As I recall reading, some models actually mounted the phonograph needle under the vinyl record to reduce tracks from skipping on bumpy roads. Here are a few more options that didn't quite survive the test of time:

Don't feel bad. Having received my 2018 challenger with the optional Harmon Kardon sound system, I just assumed it came with a CD player. Sat down in the car with the soft pack of CDs I took out of my 2012 Ram P/U, looking forward to hearing my favorite music on a "Premium" sound system. I still wonder how long I sat there with a dumbfounded look on my face after I resigned myself to the fact that there was no slot in my dash (or anywhere else) for my CDs. Guess my grey hairs on my head go very deep...

Ray...I purchased a small CD player that I can put in glove Box with a few CDs for those long drives...A couple in the center console...Just plugs into the pin plug there and through Media...Works fine...About a $30 upgrade...

I do remember that they, Dodge, could put a CD player in your glove box...Some $600+ ...A lot of us have hundreds of old CD's that you may just like to play from time to time and the hassle of transferring them to a Ipod doesn't make much sense...So a CD to play those 'every once in a while ' makes a lot of sense...Just bring out a couple you want to play and put in glove box or center console...
