If the ignition switch is disabled the jumper wont do anything. I worked in Auto Theft for many years. Car theives are in and out.

They dont search cars for kill switches. That just doesnt happen..... Most of the time it will be at night and finding a kill switch at night is nearly impossible!

I would interview every car thief I arrested (Not as evidence, just to educate myself cause most were juvi's and we cant interogate them but we can talk to them) and I would also ask how many times they got into a car and it simply wouldnt start and they would say almost never. I asked what happens if it doesnt start? Do u search the car for kill switches? Their answer? "Nah, we bounce".

Remember, most car theives are NOT professionals they are juvi's.... Yep, they can learn really quick but they aint rocket scientists and aint pulling the dash apart looking for kill switches that just doent happen.

If someone was going to steel a car and knew it was likely to have a kill switch somewhere, how difficult would it be to be prepared with a jumper. Asking because IDK and don't have time at the moment to study electrical diagrams. Not bashing the kill switch idea but thieves often are prepared to defeat security.

Nice bro! Thats f-ing great! Now were talking! Might as well add Lojack to it as they are nationwide now.

As police for 25 years we tracked at least a 100 Lo-Jack hits and NEVER didnt find the car. Some got away in pursuits but if it was parked it was an easy find but nonetheless once it goes off we find it every time!

I have the kill switch (Ravelco), clutch pedal lock, steering wheel lock, wheel lock, locking wheel lugs, GPS tracker, park in a garage, and I surround my Hellcat with garden rakes lying on the floor, prongs up, and I scatter marbles all over the garage floor.

That's right, I'm using layered security mixed with Home Alone!

Im betting YOU have ZERO theft deterrents on your car. ZERO! Would I be correct? Its ppl like YOU that gets their shit stolen bro cause u know car theives will just figure shit out and take ur car and push it down the street. So what do they do when they push it down the street and still cant start it? Did u consider that scenario?

A hidden kill switch in the truck will NEVER be found by some MOPE who just pushed my car down the street which twill never happen BTW cause I have the security plate with security screws. And my plate was made from Titanium so forget trying to smash thru it. Had it made at local fab shop. Cost $40.

No, thats NOT how most Hellcats / Scats are stolen that is 100% INCORRECT! That makes up like 1% of stolen Hellcats / Scats smh. I did this professionally for over over two decades in Auto Theft. Pushing a car down the street is the most RARE example of how ANY car is stolen where do u get this information from? Thats total BS.

U need multible ppl for that to happen and a car is HEAVY it just doeant push down the street easily and what heppens when there is a hill? Car thieves brings all kinds of attention to themselves when doing that. Thats NOT how its done bro.

So a car theif is gonna go into my trunk and figure out where my kill switch is located after he finds the one inside my car? Right...... smfh.

Just admit YOU dont have ANY theft deterrent on your car so stop talking shit about those that want to prevent one of the most stolen cars in America from being stolen.

Ur attitude is why nearly ALL members here DONT have kill switches and that same attitude is why ppl get their shit STOLEN. I know cause its not gonna happen to you right. YOU live in a safe neighborhood.....smh.

A kill switch won't stop someone from pulling the neutral safety strap and pushing the car onto a flatbed. This is how most are being stolen now. They'll have plenty of time to figure out the kill switch. In other words, there isn't one anti-theft device that's a cure-all.

So what anti theft measures have you taken to ensure your car isnt stolen? Exactly...... NONE! Bro, 99% of these cars are being DRIVEN away.....

IDN where u get this notion that most Hellcats or the like are pushed across town into a garage or something? Thats like the dumbest thing ive ever heard and yet you keep repeating it as if its fact! Its FICTION bro come to terms with that!

I know, another KILL-SWITCH hater because you dont happen to have one and your gonna point out the 1% of cars being towed away as a reason to NOT get a kill switch and by itself is worthless. Makes me lol literally!

Where are u getting this nonsense from? So car theives dont DRIVE the stolen car away they push it away......Ohhhh I see smfh.

Just admit bro you have ZERO theft deterrents for your your car and its safe the way it is. Zero chance anyone is gonna steal your car right? Go with that bro...... sounds legit!

So what about the THOUSANDS of Dodge owners who have had their car stolen right from their driveway or right from the airport parking garage or the parking garage at work......

So according to you if they had kill switches it would have done NOTHING to stop their car from being driven away? Thats what your telling yourself? A kill switch alone would not have done anything huh? Acquire some common sense bro...... The FACT is 99% of those cars would have NEVER been stolen with a simple kill switch.

My assertion, which I stand by is that a kill switch, by itself, is not going to be an effective anti-theft deterrent because most of the time these cars aren't being driven away. A kill switch is fine as one of several anti-theft methods but shouldn't be relied upon as a single point of defense.
