Haven't been on in a while, but wanted to share my thoughts on the 92mm throttlebody.
The 426 is based upon a 2008 6.1 block, so I hope this is the correct forum.
1. The tip in from stopped to rolling requires much less pedal. I have a 6M so I usually bump the accelerator to clean up the cam chop while releasing the clutch.
2. Moves more air at WOT vs BBK 85.
not sure exactly how much more air, but added some enrichment from 4500-7000 to get AFR from 13.1-3 back down to 12.3-5.
3. I had to ditch the shaker intake, it's not large enough (and was never designed) to support the 4" intake runner needed.
The shaker now delivers fresh air to the engine bay vs the engine.
I pieced together a 4 inch intake the runs down behind the driver's side front spoiler scoop. Aircharge is normally 10* or less above ambient when moving.
4. Mileage doesn't seem to be negatively impacted. Last mostly highway tank of 93 was just over 16mpg. City only still 12-13. E85 is usually 14highway and 10 city.
