Were your old bulbs halogen? If you replace halogens with leds it’ll cause that. Leds draw less voltage than halogens, so your blinker relay’s thinking they don’t work. Either need return to halogen bulbs or install a ballast resistor if you wish to keep leds.

You'll need to add a 50 watt, 6 ohm (I believe) resistor from the turn signal feed wire to ground to get rid of the hyper flash. Need to do this for each bulb.

Have you tried flipping them... Had some LED bulbs in an RV that acted up... Flipped them and all was good...

I had same, ended up adding 2 resistors on each bulb. As taillights on my car been altered to UK specifications and normal indicator bulbs dont flash bright enough.

 

After converting several vehicles to LEDs, I decided that the lower amp draw was worth it and let them hyper flash. Over time I concluded I preferred the hyper flash.
As LEDs last much longer than the OE tungsten bulbs I wasn't concerned about a burned out bulb. The only reason the hyper flash was created.
In addition, those resistors get hot, (especially when stopped in heavy traffic) so mounting them so the heat is not a problem was an issue I could do without.
