I've been told it's sitting in storage because there aren't enough truck drivers to get it up here. Infuriating
Yes, that's pretty typical right now. Last year, mine sat at the rail yard for 10 days waiting on a full load and a driver willing to take the job of hauling them to the dealer. I know it's frustrating, but, it will get there. Pics as soon as it does. Can't wait to see that Cat'!

Your dealer has been invoiced on the car and should be able to track it's location daily. Mine could. I'd be standing on someone's desk! Figuratively of course. Good luck.
My HC has been at a storage yard since April 1st and has not moved. Dodge "Customer Care-less" is no help.

Your dealer either? Mine was very helpful.

Nope. Salesman says there is nothing they can do. They have a HC Redeye in Gold Rush on their dealer floor. I'm thinking of cancelling my car and offering them the same price
I am paying for my HC and if they refuse my offer, then they can be stuck with 2 Challengers on their lot. The Red Eye has been there for 9 months. It is a 2021 model.

I ordered a challenger scat, shaker, smoke show in April. It’s been in the “shipping stage” for a little over 2 weeks now. The dealership can’t do nothing about it and dodge can’t tell me when it will arrive. Amazing🙄

I ordered April 4 and it showed up at the Final rail yard about 12 weeks later. Now it could take 2 days to 2 weeks to get to dealer 1 hour away. You are correct the dealer is powerless until it gets to the dealership. Unions and rail capacity is the slow down. Nothing against unions but it is what it is when it comes to trucks.

What exactly do you want them to do?. They've given you the status but they are at the mercy of truck drivers and there is a shortage of them for reasons we don't don't need to get into here because we already know the reasons.

Given that Dodge is only building customer orders and none for dealer stock right now you'd be doing them a favor.

And there's nothing Dodge can do about it, either. Your car is not immune to the current conditions and situations.

Yes, it's waiting on a full truck load before it leaves more than likely. Mine sat there for 10 days. Good luck!

Yes, mine also took 12 weeks to get to the rail yard. Then almost 2 weeks waiting on it's 1 hour ride to the dealership.

You're right. My dealer did say they finally got an update on location. It is at the CP yard in Ontario which means it's getting on a freight train. That is progress. I'll wait. It will be worth
it.

So I ordered my Challenger GT May 24,2022. It was built June 17 but now shipping says it was shipped June 6? How can it ship before it was built? Maybe a typo on the shipping date? Nobody on the chat could tell me what it says that. Wonder if it should be July 6?
Bet the built and shipped dates are reversed. Would make more sense. Good luck!

Just got notice my Challenger is in Wentzville MO which is only 90 miles from me! I hope it doesn’t sit there long before it’s on its way home!!
Congrats! Mine sat at the rail yard 1 hour from the dealer for 10 days. Hope yours is quicker!
