To go on a hellraisin Challenger, matte black.

I once started to put them on my 1320 but then decided against them and ripped them off before I even finished putting them on.
In some cases I think they look great, but in others not so great . You have a Yellow T/A WB right ? Flat Black would probably looked great, Yellow & Black are a great combo but I would base any pics you look at with that color combo before making your decision

I like original Yellow Jacket Stripes and like when they go the full length

But then again I LOVE the side body lines of the challenger with no stripes and feel Black can be used to accent it other ways

I agree that stripe end is supposed to be the alignment point where the stripe ends and the RT begins, or TA or GT, etc.. According to the graphic installer that redid my RT stripes. Also it was imperative the end of the stripe had the same matching slope angle of the side window

@Uglydan

Side stripes are all about what you want, and it is another way to personalize your Challenger and make it look individual.

Caution: I would not pre-buy any ready made stripes off the net though, go to your local graphics shop, not only can they design and cut out whatever you want. They do the install and take all the responsibility, if they don't get it right, they fix it!

So do what you want, no matter what anyone else thinks. :)

EDIT: Check out those new Mickeys on the rear, those bad boys will snap a knot in your neck! :ROFLMAO:

I'm down with OPP.... I mean PCP with those stripes (y)
You won't ever see stripes on mine, but I may recommend them now and again for others who want something extra to maintain and worry about 🤪....

Stripes on Hellraisin won't stand out very much since it's a darker color. Myself, I like the clean look, no stripes. My car came with a stripe on the back that goes over the trunk. It looks okay, it came with the car, so I'm not removing it. But I don't think I would add stripes if it didn't have any from the factory. Everyone likes something different though.

Thanks for the responses.

This is my second hellraisin colored Challenger.

I installed the classic r/t stripes on the first.

I want to either add the full length dual stripes or the t/a style side stripes. I think the side stripes work better on the shaker since the shaker breaks up the hood a bit, where the dual snorkel hood doesn't have that.

I like some kind of stripe on these. There's just too much sheet metal to go without. My 2010 Hemi Orange, 2013 Jazz Blue and 2014 Header Orange R/Ts had the hood to fender hash marks. My 2012 Header Orange R/T had the '71 style dual stripes plus the large "R/T" callout decal on the hood. My 2016 had over the top stripes and my current Frostbite 2022, I'm still deciding.

My matte black factory tail stripe was very low maintenance. I used the same McGuire's car shampoo on it as the rest of the car. No problem. Since I had it replaced with my red aftermarket stripe, same thing. I am just careful not to wipe against the edges. Either wipe away from them or usually just "blot" them with the wash mitt.

Where did you get your aftermarket stripe?
