Has any one ever noticed that subwoofer in trunk makes a thumping sound after car is turned off Let me know Pete that is possibly my irregular battery drain

Yes mine does that and I've read other people have had this issue. Some have named this the SRT8 heart beat...
I wish I could remember exactly what causes that, a tech once explained the reason to me some time ago but I have forgotten. It has nothing to do with your sound system in any way. It is however normal and you have nothing to worry about. Make certain if you don't plan to drive your car for awhile or you're going to store it for a season be sure to keep it on a battery tender.
