Vid coming soon!
Sorry I meant what changed between the 12.42 and the 11.92? That's half a second. That's Great! :smileup:Nitrous, meth injection, 364 rear, supercharger, DRs.
Congratulations!
I have a question for you with no disrespect meant.
I am new here so this may already be know, but why did you pick the six cylinder model to make into a drag racer.
The same effort and money spent on mods on a V8 model would surely have you going quicker in the 1/4 mile.A quick 1/4 mile is the end goal, isn't it?
Don't the mods like superchargers, nitrous etc. cost about the same (or close enough) for either the V8 or the 6 cylinder model?
I hope this is not a stupid question.I am just curious.
No hater here! I really admire what you've done!!!!So now I ask you, (and don't take this as being sarcastic or anything because it's not), how much was your car ? ....and even if you add 6k to it it may get you in the 11's but, 6k plus 35k is much more than what I paid in total. Yeah, your resale value is higher and you running 11's is realization of the norm. Heck, everyone at the tracks I go to think mine has a Hemi in it because of the times it runs. But when the announcer says V6 or when I tell them it's a V6 and they see the badging on the car as a V6, that's when the jaws really drop and heads get scratched. I know, it's a novelty. But I find it more interesting than the norm.
So now let the blasting begin!
I don't give $*!^ what people have under the hood - when your running 11's, it's just that - a car that's running 11's....gotta respect a car that produces results in the 1/4 no matter what it is......show me one person out there who would refuse the keys if offered to them!!???!!So now I ask you, (and don't take this as being sarcastic or anything because it's not), how much was your car ? ....and even if you add 6k to it it may get you in the 11's but, 6k plus 35k is much more than what I paid in total.
