I am aware of how much it will cost, with that being said where should I start, probably forged pistons and rods, then add a whipple? Then tune it? Let me know guys. I know a hellcat would be faster out the box, but everybody got a hellcat, I want to make a fast scatpack thats pushin 700+ hp, which would mean I’d need to change the fuel pump and also the transmission. Let me know guys
Go visit my Showcase and read about the build of my 782hp R/T Shaker...

Thanks RY, yeah that's mine

That Kenne Bell looks really good, a lot of under hood shiny going on, love where that air filter is located!

They are rare at the car shows we've been to, I only remember seeing one so far on a Mustang, but it always draws the looks! (y)

So did you build solely for track power or still drive on the street regularly?

I actually designed the build for street not the track. When all is said and done power range should be from low 2000s to low 6000s. And that big 3.6l likes to spool up like a turbo. So it should be fairly drivable.
That is different from the 2.3l Magnuson?

Petal to the metal mine is in it from the git go with power building as rpm builds.

Light cruising it is still like naturally aspirated, as far as gas mileage goes, so it is great on a trip.

Do you run the same tires all around, or stickier for the rear?

I am running the Mickey Thompson ET Street S/S rear with Pirelli All Season front.

"That is different from the 2.3 Magnuson? " Not sure what your referring to?

But yes Maggie's are a good lil affordable supercharger no doubt. Their time tested and get the job done. All else equal there's not going to be a huge difference between handling of a KB 2.8 and a Maggie 2.3 at 8lbs except the KB will make slightly more HP partially because it's a higher volume and partially because it's a more efficient design with less parasitic draw. ( When the bypass is closed of course)Maggie's and edelbrock are still a roots blower they just use a twin screw rotor pack instead of paddles. When you get to 10lbs and above it gets more noticable. There's a reason nhra won't let top fuel dragsters run twin screws.
Just running 295 nexens right now on 10.5 wheels. It's too hot for blacktop here so everything ends up chip sealed. It's like driving on exposed aggregate! LMAO so having some tread actually helps to not shred them. Plus laying a nice set of matchsticks and getting sixty sideways is how I get my giggles.

Don‘t you mean Shelby Killer? Challenger owners shouldn‘t race each other! I never tried to show up other Challengers. A Hellcat once motioned for me to go ahead at a stop even though he could‘ve easily shot past me. I‘m just saying.

Good way to look at it, it’s just people in the mopar community always talking trash on the scats because they got a hellcat, thats why thats the mindset, we should be trying to be better than other brands cars, not the same brand family 💪🏽

If you’re in a position to do both and your winters aren’t severe, go for it.
Tbh I have driven scats and rwd cars in wet and snow conditions, as long as you don’t just mash throttle and ease into everything, I have never had any fishtailing or skidding in those conditions, only ice no matter what you got, you shouldnt try it on ice 👍🏽

Glad someone else agrees. I mean, Camaro and Mustang owners don‘t wave at each other like we do. I own a Firebird but wouldn‘t even want to show up a Camaro because it‘s a cousin (the way I see it).
