Nice little set up now! I have a gravel alley to my garage behind my house. I would kill to
have all that concrete! Car looks great!
Thanks! I waited a long time for it and this is it! No more moves for this old guy! Perfectly happy here and it is nice with no worries about rain and the dirt/mud that goes with it! (y)

CONGRATS JACK 🍺

Friggin AWESOME RICK, LOOKS GREAT  Beat that SOB like you just stole it 👍
Thanks Rob! It was fun cleaning Underdog up after so long! And, I ran him hard as much as I dared. For a Monday, the county was crawling with LEO's! I saw 5, 2 writing tickets (one to a red Camry that blew by me in a 40 mph zone doing at least 70 mph). I wanted to honk when I passed him back, getting his ticket! :ROFLMAO:

It's been a while since my last Challenger and my activity on this forum. I've sadly had 3 of my life-long friends pass away in the last couple of years....2 in the last 3 months. These were high school friends that were in my wedding in 1973 and we had stayed in touch all these years. Their passing caused me to stop and take some time to consider life and the inevitabilty of life that we must all face, and how we choose to spend our time. There is nothing more valuable than time. Being a car guy my entire life, and having the mind of a 20 year old trapped in a 73 year old bode, I made the only decision that made any sense to me...time for another Challenger! And luckily for me, I have a very understanding wife!

Of all the performance cars I have owned, the 1320 Scat Pack was to me, the ultimate pure muscle car. I've owned 2 Hellcats and they were certainly faster, but none of my old muscle cars had blowers, so the 1320 for me hits the sweet spot. So the search was on....

The 1320 was a somewhat rare option package, which makes them a bit harder to find than a regular Scat Pack. I decided I wanted a 1320 with no sunroof, for headroom reasons, options or color were not important. I just wanted another 1320. I was visiting my buddy in the Tri Cities in WA State and ran across one at the local Ford Dealership. I called and inquired about the car....it was a Cinnamon Stick 1320 with some options and no sunroof, so I told them I would be there in an hour to look at it. I hung up the phone and my buddy says, "Hey, do you want to buy mine?"

Yep, he had a 1320 with a story.... I ordered a new 1320 in June of 2022. It was a base Scat Pack with the 1320 option and no other options except for the passenger and rear seat option. It was White Knuckle. I decided that I did not want that car and ended up buying a Tored 1320 off the showroom floor. He decided to buy the one I ordered when it came in. He had been considering selling his car and had said nothing about it for some time. Anyway, his car was the perfect car for me. It had never been in the rain, it was stored inside a climate controled garage, and had probably never been over 4500 rpm in it's 21000 miles. I asked how much he wanted and he told me....my reply was yes, sounds good to me!

I now have one of the cars I ordered in the past and I really like it!

Congrats!! Glad you are back! That is a great story. I certainly understand about you losing your friends. I have lost 4 cousins and my brother in the last year and a half. Some close friends have also lost family lately. You are right to enjoy getting back into a challenger. Life moves fast when we get older. One thing I wasn’t prepared for at 75 was losing friends and family. I realize now that getting older isn’t hard, but losing people in your life is.
SO enjoy!! And we all like lots of pictures!!

Congrats on the new ride and welcome back! The 1320's are awesome vehicles and as you say, so too common. Enjoy that beast! (y)

Ordered some black carbon fiber dual quad exhaust tips... Gonna give em a try instead of chrome and see how they look... Don't know but I think they'll look ok... I'll post pics when they come in and install...
Well I tracked it till it reached my door... Thought it was 2 each... Nah... I thought the price was to good... Any way one delivered
